On a functional level, the green wooden discs have been designed to protect work surfaces from pesky coffee-cup stains. But there’s much more to this drinks mat set than first meets the eye. Each coaster has a notch in the side which means they can be slotted together to create an array of different three-dimensional cactus designs.
Each product is comprised of a terracotta pot, a birch plywood top, and six mint green water resistant discs of slightly varying sizes, providing surface protection for up to seven cups.
When your coasters aren’t in use, get creative and build your own cactus – then you can either keep your masterpiece on display or leave the discs neatly stacked at the end of each day, ready for a new composition tomorrow.
