Pssst...do you know how to combat Blue Monday?

We have some interesting tips for you

Oh January! How you test us with your long dark days, terrible weather and the worst of all… Blue Monday! Hands-down the most depressing day of the year, as dictated by very glum-looking scientists, and it’s coming for us on the other side of this very weekend… But never fear! You can combat it with THE JOY OF PLANTS!

Take Your Plant To Work Day

So when the alarm clock rings on Monday Morning, forget reaching for the strong coffee and pro-plus, because we’ve formulated the perfect plan to cheer you and your colleagues right up. It’s the Take Your Plant To Work day – where we’re encouraging you to spruce up your workplace with some much-needed greenery.

According to scientists...

Plants are scientifically proven to prevent illness, increase productivity, improve concentration and enhance your mood - so while others are losing their heads with the January blues, you can make sure that yours is right on track to happiness, health and a great day at work. Perhaps you could even provide a potted Phalaenopsis for a particularly perfect pal.

Should you receive any opposition from a colleague, you can knowingly state that Washington State University (no less) recently proved that ‘people working indoors with plants in their line of vision do tasks a staggering 12% faster and can concentrate better than those that don’t’. Or that ‘indoor air pollution contributes to 40% of absenteeism…’

Which pal will you bring to the office?
Take your plant to work day really is a win/win situation for everyone! The only question now is which leafy lovely is going to accompany you into the office? Something strong, bold and eye-catching, or perhaps a slightly more floral touch is required.
