Classic reds: garden plants for November
Brighten up the outside with flashes of colour
In the run-up to December, the days can feel dull and dreary. In the garden, plants and animals are gradually settling into hibernation. However, with the addition of some classic red plants, you'll make sure there's still plenty to see and enjoy when you look outside your window. Holly, Skimmia and Leucothoe have flowers, berries and fabulously colourful foliage in a spectrum of reds from pink to russet. These colours not only take care of November’s grey moments, but will also create some natural festive cheer in the garden next month.
