Which plants work best?
One of the best things about this simple design is its versatility. You would be hard pushed to find a plant that didn’t look good hanging in one of these. For a modern, understated look, opt for a smooth-edged succulent – or for something totally eye-catching and different, creature-luring carnivorous plants will certainly make a statement! Climbing plants with cascading leaves also work well – think English ivy or heart-shaped philodendron.
About the artist
Nashville based designer Lisa Garcia is the creative brains behind the Sonadora In Love brand. “I live my life according to my dreams, those that stew in the day, and those that brew in the night. In dreaming, the common day object or sentiment can be made magical,” says Garcia. So you won’t be surprised to hear that the name Sonadara means ‘dreamer’ in Spanish.
