DIY tip: Cover your Regal Pelargonium in colourful rubber

Festive combination of rubber gloves and tin cans

The Regal Pelargonium, Houseplant for March, has impressive trumpet shape flowers. You can make these stand out even more in a festive duo of rubber gloves and a tin can. We can assure you, a DIY project doesn't get any easier than this.

This is what you need:  

  • Regal Pelargoniums

  • Tin cans

  • Rubber gloves in different colours

  • Elastic bands in different colours and sizes

  • Scissors

This is how you make it:

Step 1

Cut the rubber gloves off under the thumb. You can put aside the part with the fingers.

Pull the other part of the glove over the can. The more you stretch the rubber, the lighter the colour will become.

And finally, you can place some elastic bands around the can as decoration. Choose the amount and colours to your own taste.
