Introducing Milo, the lamp that loves your plants

Designed by Poland-based lighting studio Lightovo, Milo is a stylish glass pendant lamp that would look equally cool hanging over a dining table or bed. But it’s more than just a lamp: perfect for urban plant lovers – it also acts a miniature greenhouse. As plants are suspended, it doesn’t take up valuable shelf or table space, making it ideal for those living in a small city apartment.

Pretty and practical

It’s large enough to house one medium-sized or several small potted plants – and the clever part is it also offers the additional light that plants need to grow during the darker winter months.

Recreating Daylight

The lamp is powered by an LED light source with colour temperature 4000K, which is the closest to natural daylight. LEDs don’t generate heat toward the plants, so flowers are safe from overheating.

Choose from Milo (63cm(h) x 35cm(w)) or Milo Baby (38cm(h) x 25cm(w)) in oak, natural or white.

How to use it:

First place a layer of drainage material into the metal insert and then plant your seeding(s). The metal insert can then be placed inside the wooden bowl, wasn't that quick and easy? You are now ready to hang your lamp and enjoy! Oh, and don’t forget to water your plants!
