Plant Instagrammer of the month: RoCo

The creative duo bringing urban spaces to life

When they’re not designing and making uber-cool plant-related products in their North London studio, plant aficionados Rose and Caro are dressing venues for weddings and events – bringing urban spaces to life with exotic greenery.

Roco instgrammer of the month

Insta-cool

Cacti, succulents, air plants and palms snapped against clean, white minimalist backdrops, interspersed with snapshots of life in their urban studio and candid moments from their plant-filled travels, make this one highly scrollable Instagram account.

The products

The creative duo design and make plant-inspired homewares from their North London conservatory studio perched on the edge of one of the capital’s best loved green spaces, Hampstead Heath: an apt location for a company that focuses on urban botanicals.

From the hanging planters made to order in the studio, to the ceramic pots hand-thrown and glazed in East London’s Hackney, the focus is on locally sourced plants and products. Check out the copper air-plant himmelis, stoneware pots and hanging planters in the RoCo online shop.

Styling

When they’re not beavering away in the studio, the accomplished stylists are dressing urban spaces with exotic botanicals for weddings, events and other private and commercial special occasions, having already racked up an impressive list of clients, including WGSN, MiH, M&C Saatchi and Folk Clothing. With the focus very much on foliage, RoCo’s bespoke designs offer a cool and contemporary twist on traditional floristry work.
