Mini gardens in the heart of London

The Pothole Gardener creates little moments of joy

Do you tend to daydream when you are walking outside or being busy on your phone? It is worth looking down sometimes. You might find mini gardens down there, often complete with tiny deckchairs, bicycles and other miniature set pieces. A guarantee to make you smile.

The Pothole Gardener

The mini gardens were created in London, where they are called pothole gardens. The gardens are a project by Steve Wheen, The Pothole Gardener, a resident of London who wanted to create little moments of joy in the grey city. He stimulates the imagination of passers-by with his miniature gardens. Fun detail: some gardens are decorated with miniature items of furniture.
