DIY: Ice cubes with edible plants

Magic them onto your table in no time

To keep cool through the summer we have made some ice cubes with edible plants. They’re not only really tasty, they also look great.

What do you need for plant ice cubes?

  • Water
  • Ice cube tray
  • Buy a few edible plants such as: mint, peppermint, lemon balm and the purple flowers of the starflower.

Getting started!

  • Pick the leaves from the branches and the purple flowers from the starflower;
  • Place them in the ice cube tray and carefully add water;
  • Add the water until it reaches the edge of the tray;
  • Place the tray carefully into the freezer;
  • Take the plant ice cubes out of the freezer after 1.5 hours and your summer party can begin. Nice and refreshing in a glass of water!
