THE POSITIVE EFFECT OF PLANTS
A green living environment has a positive effect on everyone. Plants are capable of improving our mental and physical health. The presence of plants lowers blood pressure, improves mood, reduces stress and anxiety levels and increases productivity. And that's not all - plants are also capable of creating a certain atmosphere. They can, as it were, take you on a journey. Where that journey goes, you decide for yourself!
Plant First
Once you know what atmosphere you want to create, it's time to choose the plants to match. For the best effect, think Plant First: first decide where to put your plants, then where to put your furniture.
MATCH THE RIGHT ATMOSPHERE to THE RIGHT PLANTS
Are you going for a jungle feeling (photo 1)? You can imagine yourself being in a tropical rainforest with plants such as Strelitzia, Banana plant, Philodendron, Begonia, Orchid, Bromelia and Scindapsus. To create a typical Mediterranean feeling (photo 2), choose plants such as palms, Ficus, Yucca, citrus trees, Aloe Agave and Mimosa. Do you feel happy walking in the woods and would you like to experience the same feeling at home (photo 3)? Then choose ferns. These plants are eminently suitable for recreating that cosy cabin in the woods feeling and they come in all shapes and sizes (such as curly fern, blue fern, adjuntum, staghorn and asparagus).
