A rainbow of colours
The rich dark green foliage gives way to striking flowers in a range of colours. When picking your plant, always consider where it will end up in your home. If you are going to place it against a dark wall or surface, a light pink or purple colour is ideal. For lighter rooms, why not opt for a plant with white or orange flowers?
Caring for your plant
Find a spot with lots of sunlight to keep your plant and keep your pot topped up with moist, well-drained soil. Whilst the plant can be kept outside in warmer months, make sure you bring it inside in the winter to keep it healthy. Keep an eye out for wilted flowers and remove them regularly and prune your plant to encourage new shoots to come through.
The perfect pot
It is best to choose a pot with holes in it so that the water can drain away from the soil. Before potting your plant, add some hydro grains to the soil to ensure the best results. Once potted, you don't need to water the plant too frequently. You can leave it more than a few days between watering but keep checking to see if the soil does get completely dry.
