What you will need

  • An old book
  • A sharp craft knife
  • PVA glue
  • Small paintbrush
  • Cling Film
  • Soil
  • Small succulents

 

 

How to make your planter

  1. Carefully cut a 5cm deep rectangle from the centre of the book 
  2. Remove the centre of the cut pages and brush the hollow inside with the glue
  3. Once the glue has dried, cover the inside of the book with cling film
  4. Add a layer of soil on top of the cling film
  5. Plant an arrangement of small succulents in the book

Embellish the design

If you want to add more decorations to the planter, you can use moss to add another texture and colour to the arrangment.
