Which plants to choose

Complement the simple design with a sleek and elegant Peace Lily, opt for contrast with an explosive Boston Fern or go with the retro flow with a Mother-in-law's tongue.

What you’ll need:

  • Wooden disc
  • 3 x 4" wooden tapered legs
  • 3 x mounting plates for legs
  • Paintbrush
  • Rag
  • White spirits
  • Wood stain
  • Wood sealer (wax or polyurethane)
  • Power drill

What to do:

1. Apply the wood stain to the wooden circle and legs with a paintbrush or rag.

2. Seal the wood with the sealer.

3. Attach the leg-mounting plates equidistant around the edge of the wooden circle. REMINDER: Attach these to the rough side of the wood, not the smooth side you wish to display.

4. Screw the legs into the mounting plates.

5. Proudly display your favourite houseplant!
