In your own garden you can drift off in a hammock alongside baskets full of sunflowers or amidst clouds of indigo hydrangeas. If you don't have that much outdoor space, you can go upwards instead. A vertical strawberry wall is a good alternative to a bed of strawberries in the vegetable patch. And you can make lots of jam from a strawberry wall and that way, you can store the summer in a jar long after it’s ended.

In your garden you have enough space for a couple of jagged soft fruit bushes in large concrete or scaffolding containers. They will provide you, the butterflies and bees with the joy of blossom and sweet snacks throughout the summer. If you prefer flowers, then create hanging gardens. These become ever more beautiful as the season progresses. Make hanging gardens with geraniums, petunias, Verbena, Callibrachoa and the 'balcony plant of the year' fuchsias or fill up an open cabinet to create one big plant display. You can make your own plant hangers out of natural materials such as terracotta pots, coarse string and baskets. Use Hebe if you want an attractive, relaxed look in the borders or in containers. This is a loosely structured evergreen plant which combines well with other plants. Put everything down spontaneously, make changes when the mood takes you. But above all, enjoy your own wilderness!
